get ready for the ultimate man versus machine race
The Medihelp Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race is a unique relay race where teams, consisting of five runners and one mountain bike rider, challenge a Metro Rail train on a 38 km long route between the Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage stations in Port Elizabeth. We invite all corporate, social, club and school teams to participate in this exciting race, taking place on Sunday, 19 August 2018.

You can make a difference by supporting the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation, an organisation in South Africa that provides comprehensive countrywide support for children with cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders, and their families. We encourage all teams and spectators to donate food and clothing in good condition. You can drop it off when you pre-register for the race.
