Medihelp's annual general meeting (AGM)

Members are invited to submit nominations for trustees and motions or suggestions for the 2020 AGM.

Nominations and motions

Medihelp members must please nominate candidates for election to the Medihelp Board of Trustees, as two vacancies will arise on the day of the annual general meeting (AGM) which will be held on 18 June 2020. Motions or suggestions to be discussed at the AGM are also welcome – please submit all nominations and motions by 16:00 on 31 March 2020.

A principal member of Medihelp may nominate another principal member as a candidate to serve on the Board of Trustees. Should you have a suitable candidate in mind, please read more about the process here.

The responsibilities and requirements of Board members are outlined in the Fitness and Propriety Framework for Prospective and Current Members of the Board of Trustees, and all nominees will be vetted in terms of these requirements.

To submit a motion or suggestion for consideration by the AGM, please provide a detailed discussion and motivation of the proposal, also containing the membership numbers and signatures of the principal member submitting the motion and a principal member who seconds the motion. Due to the complexity of the process involved in amending benefits, suggestions with regard to benefit allocations will not be discussed at the AGM but will be forwarded to Medihelp’s Product Committee for consideration.
