Self-administration

Medihelp is one of the few open medical aids in the country that is self-administered. Self-administration means that Medihelp doesn’t make use of a third party for the administration of the Scheme, allowing us to remain in complete control of the experience our members have when engaging with us. It also assists in keeping administration costs at an acceptable level.


Exceptional service and simplicity

Medihelp was rated first in overall customer satisfaction in the 2018 South African Customer Satisfaction Index (SA-csi) survey by members of Medihelp. Customer satisfaction will remain a top priority for Medihelp, with various traditional service platforms such as our Customer Care centre and online platforms ensuring uninterrupted service delivery. Medihelp’s self-service platforms provide service and support around the clock. These include Medihelp’s member app and secured self-service website, an app and website for medical scheme advisers selling our products, and a website specifically for service providers.

Medihelp’s free online wellness programme, HealthPrint, provides added value to members through programmes such as a pregnancy and baby programme.
