We believe that we have a fundamental responsibility to assist in improving the wellness of South African communities and the environment in which we operate. Therefore, Medihelp has implemented a corporate social investment (CSI) strategy that is aligned with the organisation’s overall mission, vision, and values and contributes to the achievement of the organisation’s strategy. At Medihelp, we care about positively impacting our communities and the environment.
Values
As we roll out the Medihelp social and ethics strategy, various Medihelper projects give our employees the opportunity to engage with and support charities of their choice. With our initiatives, we consider our strategic goals, mission, vision, and values, as well as the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
We aim to act ethically at all times, considering the social, economic, and environmental impacts of our business. We also contribute to our communities through environmental awareness, community involvement, and investment initiatives.
In addition, Medihelp is committed to maintaining an ethical workplace culture and is a registered supporter of The Ethics Institute of South Africa.
