The Phyllis Robertson Home for disabled adults is a care facility that receives no subsidies but relies fully on donations and residence fees to provide entertainment, comfort and enrichment to persons with various disabilities, beyond the minimum care required.

Medihelp recently reached out to this organisation to offer our support in keeping the residents comfortable and stimulated. With the help of Jady Hewitt, General Manager of the Phyllis Robertson Home, we compiled a list of the most pressing needs that required attention.

Our MediHELPER team has since upgraded the garden visitation area with parasols and provided the centre with a brand new industrial size dishwasher. The home also received another TV from Medihelp for its TV room where residents can relax and be entertained.

In the coming weeks, our team will deliver an industrial washing machine to the home as well as a brand new microwave.
