MEDIHELP EMPLOYEES CONTINUE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Medihelp’s employees have been rolling up their sleeves and offering support to organisations in their communities who are faced with challenges that they are struggling to overcome on their own.
Medihelp’s employees recently visited Huis Ebenhaeser, a home providing a safe haven for abandoned children, abused mothers and the elderly, and assisted them with installing a Wendy house to be used as a learning centre for the 23 children currently housed there.
They also visited Wollies Animal Shelter, who cares for abandoned, neglected and abused animals, and provided them with solar powered lights to improve on-site security at night as well as carpeting for their kennels
During the October school holidays, Medihelp employees took the children from Huis Ebenhaeser for a fun visit to Wollies, where they spent a day showering the animals with love and their favourite treats. The children also played board games with the Medihelp team before heading home.
Medihelp will continue to support deserving organisations in its community by undertaking similar care initiatives in the next few months, aimed at empowering these institutions and helping them to focus on their primary goal of helping people in need.
