How to join?

Who can join?Medihelp MultiSport is a registered club in Gauteng North and can only accommodate members in this region. (including Medihelp members and non-members)
Annual membership fee

New membership:

  • R250 per adult (from 13 years)
  • Free for children up to 12 years

Annual membership renewal:

  • R200 per adult (from 13 years)
  • Free for children up to 12 years

You will require an ASA running license if you run distances exceeding 10 km.

The Color Run

The Color Run – also known as the happiest 5 k on the planet – is an untimed 5 km race, where runners are doused from head to toe in different colours at each kilometre mark. No need to be super fit – all sizes, shapes and fitness levels welcome. You can jog, walk or run whilst having lots of fun. 

Medihelp will spice up your Color Run with The Superhero Tour, and you can expect some #medihelpfun surprises at the green Medihelp colour station. 

HealthPrint members run for free! 
Good news for members of Medihelp’s very own wellness programme, HealthPrint: You can enter the Color Run for free. To redeem your free Color Run ticket, visit the HealthPrint website and click on the Color Run link.

Medihelp Sunrise Monster

The Medihelp Sunrise Monster forms part of many marathon runner’s training schedule each year. The challenging 32km event is an ideal conditioner for an ultra marathon athlete’s preparation schedule. The race also offer a 10km mini monster and a very enjoyable 5km event .

Medihelp Bike & Tekkie Challenge

The Medihelp Bike & Tekkie Challenge in Kuilsrivier is a combination of timed mountain bike events and road running. This event is in aid of the Jan Kriel School and has something to offer for the whole family – even the four-legged friends can take part in the 5km event! medihelpbikeandtekkie

Medihelp Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race

This unique race gives athletes the opportunity to compete against a Metro Train along the scenic route between Port Elizabeth station and Uitenhage station. It’s a community driven event and corporate, social, club and school relay teams are welcome to participate in the fun. Each team must include 5 runners and 1 mountain bike cyclist. The race is popular for its festive atmosphere and the opportunity to have healthy fun outdoors with your friends.

Cherry MTB Challenge

The Medihelp Cherry MTB Challenge is sponsered by Medihelp and is held in Ficksburg during the famous Cherry Festival. 

Participants can look forward to enter a 2 km, 8 km, 15 km, 15 km, 40 km, or 60 km event.

The Witness Medihelp Maritzburg City Marathon

The Witness Medihelp Maritzburg City Marathon that will start at 5:30 on Sunday, 25 February 2018. This challenging race is a Comrades and Two Oceans qualifier and attracts more Comrades qualifier athletes than any other race.
